Liverpool made it 21 games unbeaten in the Merseyside Derby thanks to a last-gasp, freak goal from Divock Origi. The goal sent Jurgen Klopp on a 40-yard sprint where he met Allison. It was a crushing way to lose for Everton, while Liverpool stay within touching distance of the league leaders.
